The first single that was released for 'Velociraptor!' - Switchblade Smiles was first played to the public on the 7th June 2011 on Zane Lowes show on Radio 1.
According to the iTunes popularity chart, this is the most popular song on there new album. This shows that people like the song, so if they like the song when they first hear it on 7th June 2011, they will follow kasabian on their new album making the album more popular. This is one form of promotion! It is different to the previous form of promotion for the track - Underdog.
Sony Music, in partnership with Umbro, has combined Guitar Hero style game-play with football to create a new game called Football Hero - to promote Kasabian's new single, Underdog.
But this isnt' a game you'll be able to play at home... Football hero was created as a three-storey high game in a West London warehouse where instead of pressing buttons on a plastic replica guitar, footballers had to hit coloured buttons on a wall several yards away in time to a fret board display projected above...
